Denmark is expensive no doubt, but you need to know that for a Dane like me, with a part-time job as a night watch with no degree required (though I do have one), my wages are $245 to $360 a day, depending on the hours and day of the week (with the income taxes being around 25% when you consider all the deductibles and that the first around $7, 000 you earn a year is being tax free)

I love Copenhagen, because it definitely feels safer than other cities, and people are relaxed and respectful. I avoid expensive places like Nyhavn and Tivoli though - found some nice and relatively cheap spots to eat in Vesterbrø.

The Tik Tak ride looked awesome, don't think the ride was in place when I was there. Did the Swing Tower at night, fantastic view of the city lights.
There was a plane ride with good g-force and lots of maneuvers, was doing good until 2nd to last spin, didn't feel so good after that. Even park workers kept asking if I was OK for some time after, guess green is not a natural colour.
Strøget pedestrian street is a must visit even if not buying anything, good restaurants and/or bars on it.

You should have taken full advantage of your Tivoli one day pass and gone back for the night. Very often there are bands or entertainment at the big scene and square and 2 nights a week there are fireworks at midnight when rides closes for the day. If you want to try just 2 rides it pays to buy the pass. I recommend all buy the pass and allow yourself the freedom to be a child for a night again. There are so many different rides that you will find some appealing to you and then you just can. The atmosphere, the lights and the many many flowers are a sight to behold, not least at night.

I've been to Copenhagen in August. It was rainy, windy and 14-15 degrees Celcius, true danish experience. Prices were quite similar to Oslo, but sometimes seemed higher.

I like the journey, I would make differents things and in add.

If Christiana town were more ordered and with new materializations it could become a nice place.
For some products it would require quality, good style or something else worth it.

For production the result is important, for someone like me for some things it would require something very good or something exceptional for me or kind of, if possible.

Do not forget that taxes are high in Denmark (25% VAT on any restaurant meal), but the Danish people have many social help from their Government.
Also buy a CPH card: unlimited public transportation and easy access to many attractions, ... fully digital.

Ppl think Denmark is expensive which is stupid cuz it’s not expensive, that’s just how it works with their money and their value of money. 12 Danish krones is around 2-3 British pounds so it’s not expensive it’s just different value like how it is with every country

As far as I know the cost of living here in 🇩🇰 exceeds the cost of living in 🇳🇴 since last year 2022. Consumer prices are only 37 percent above the 🏴 average though. It’s a bargain😂❤
