I really loved watching you paint! I was born and raised in Hawaii and now live in Northern California. I don't get to the beach as often as I would like...but I live near a lake, so that makes me happy as I enjoy being by the water. We don't get sea gull up here often...sometimes pelicans pass through, though I am not sure where they are heading as I think of them as shore birds, but we do get egrets and giant herons who will winter here, and we have several eagles that live here fulltime...and there are always a lot of geese! Watching you paint the sea gulls has really inspired me. I love your sea gulls...and hope that maybe I can try some of your techniques with the birds that frequent our area. I have never worked quite as large as the canvas that you used, but after watching you paint, I think I might try! I think I will try using a roller also...I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

I love your painting technique Lucy, just wonderful - I'm so envious.. I'm a very amature artest born with Cerebral Palsy, so my hand is quite unsteady with most brushes. I'm a country boy and love the nature, and paint at CS. Art, a studio for artists with disabilities. Most of my paintings are either seascapes or landscapes, so no need for straight lines. You inspire me Lucy and I've picked up some great ideas from your painting, especially the way you use a Take care - Mike from South NZ 😊
