Luxury Car with the introduction of the Thunderbird. Enjoying a
production run from 1954 to 1997 spanning ten generations, and a
revival of an eleventh generation that ran between 2001 and 2005, the
Thunderbird nameplate has been firmly cemented in Ford history as the
car that Americanized what was previously known in Continental Europe
