Mango Phirni | Aam Ki Phirni

While we are almost finishing with the Mango Season I want you guy's to try this Amazing Mango Phirni Recipe. Traditional Phirni Recipe which is flavoured with Mango Pulp or Aam Ras.

The recipe steps are very similar to Traditional Rice Phirni.
.
It is an ideal Dessert Recipe during Summer or Mango Season and also during the Festival Season.
.
Further the Quantity of Mango Pulp is completely Unlimited and can be added based on the sweetness level of it.
.
Before Serving Aam Ki Phirni, Make sure to refrigerate it. You can also keep phirni out of the refrigerator But it tastes great when served chilled.
.

Ingredients:-
•Basmati Rice (Basmati Chawal):- 50 Gm.
•Mangoes (Aam):- 3.
•Milk (Doodh):- 1 Litre.
•Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder:- Pinch OR 1/2 Tbsp.
•Sugar (Shakkar):- As Per Taste.
•Water (Pani):- To Soak Rice.

Preparations:-
1. Firstly, Soak Basmati Rice for 30 Mins OR 1 Hour.
2. In a jar, add soaked Rice and little water and grind it.
3. Grind till you get a Semi-Fine Granular Consistency, like Rava OR Sooji. Keep aside.
4. Chop Mangoes in cubes and add in a blender or grinder.
5. Blend till Smooth. Keep the Mango Pulp OR Mango Puree aside
6. Take Milk in a bottomed kadai or pan and heat it. Do stir at times so that the milk does not scorch from the base.
7. When the milk begins to boil, then add Sugar as per your taste. Melt the Sugar.
8. Now add the Ground Rice Granules and stir well. The milk will thicken as the rice gets cooked.
9. Keep on stirring so that lumps are not formed. Also scrape the sides often and add it to the simmering milk.
10. By the time the rice granules get cooked, the phirni would thicken considerably. At this stage, you have to stir continuously, so that the phirni does not get brown or burn from the base.
11. Low the flame OR you can also Switch off the flame, when you reach a thick consistency and the rice is cooked.
12. Now add the Mango Puree and mix very well. If you feel the Phirni is too thick, Then you can add 2 to 3 tablespoons of Warm Milk to it. And mix well.
13. Now spoon the Mango Phirni in Soil Utensil (Mitti Ke Sakore) OR any Normal Bowls.
14. Garnish with Sliced Pistachios OR Cashews OR Some Finely Chopped Mangoes.
15. Refrigerate Mango Phirni and Serve Chilled.
