In this video I'll be putting two newcomers to the All-in-one liquid cooler market to the test. I'll be reviewing the build quality, thermal performance, and ease of installation of the Lian Li Galahad AIO 240 and the InWin SR 24.

A Few Notes: First this is a long one but I've included plenty of chapter markers. Next at 15:12 I mentioned plugging both fans into the 3 pin connectors on the fan splitter. The missing pin there is the RPM sensor so depending on your motherboard you may get a fan error on boot, or your fans may just run at max RPM. Finally, the noise sampling at 27:58 was NOT captured by the handheld camera I used for the footage, it was captured independently on the small microphone you see at the top center of the frame.

I cracked up at your “fair amount of cursing” comment, as 15 minutes earlier, I was doing just that, installing those two AMD adapters onto the AM4 CPU brackets - with only two hands. I too have the newly purchased PC-O11 Dynamic, so thanks for the timely video.

Looks like there is lot to break inside that InWin pump. I'd want to wait a couple of years and see how many get returned over any issues.

Hi. Some people complain about pump whine on the Galahad? Is this the case. I am looking at this cooler and the Corsair h100inelite capillex as I need a white 240/280mm for my white build. Been told both of these coolers have pump wine that can be heard on silent modes. Is this true ?

The Galahad logo can be rotated 360 degrees which I think is great. No matter where the tubes are it'll look good. No need to put them in a bad spot above the pump

You got a new subscriber by just mounting the AIO and showing noise sample footage of AIO. I'm sick and tired of all these reviewers showing noise in DB instead of also including noise sample footage like you did. I would much prefer a nicer hum at a higher decibel than a screeching whine at a lower decibel level.

There is one thing I dont understand about the Galahad. Your supposed to connect both the pump and the fans to a PWM fan header on the mb, and then you control the fan speed and the pump speed in bios? and the temp that controls the speed is the CPU temp not the block temp on the AIO? or do you control the fan speed in a software from Lian Li?

Just bought the Galahad. I recommend attaching the AMD mounting bracket screws loosely before attempting to place on CPU, that way it’s easy to hook onto the mobo bracket. No problems at all mounting it then.

You have one of the very few SR24 reviews on the internet... Unfortunately no details whatsoever on noise generated specifically by the pump. If they put two motors in there and gave no way of controlling them at all, it would be great to know if/how audible the pump is.
