Being a Sigma Male means having a strong will, an independent mind, and a lack of trust in others. All three at once can make it really hard for this man to just trust another person.

The term Sigma comes from Greek language and means "the one who does not hold the group together". It was used for males who did not easily fit in any social group and kept their distance from others.

They were often isolated and self-reliant: they protected themselves by not getting involved in the problems of others, nor asking for help.

They can be very genuine and loyal, but do not expect them to open up easily or tell you what's on their mind, unless you're really close to them. It's just their way of protecting themselves.

They simply don't trust others that easy. If you want to gain their trust, then it'll take time, they need to know you more than ever, before they decide on whether or not you are worth their trust.

Their trust is worth the wait. They are most loyal beings, who are not easy to gain trust with. The trust game with sigma is a lot difficult because they don't want their emotion to flow through unworthy people.

As a sigma, I don’t trust ppl who tend to be super selfish/inconsiderate or overly happy or always angry all the time! Angry people hate happy people and would rather be around other angry ppl. I always trust people. I trust them to be whatever they represent themselves as.
For instance, if the individual represents them self as honest, I'll trust them to be honest until they give me a reason not to. If they represent them self as a liar, I'll trust them to lie like a rug until they give me a reason not to.
This is another way you can put our whole 'not trusting others' thing.

I know you cant trust anyone.... But I choose to be courageous. Nit because of them but because of me. You know they will use your weaknessessess against you and break your trust but instead of naive or cynical you become Courageous and human. You know stabbers against your friends, your job and even closer will come.

Beauty of not trusting people is you aren’t betrayed….. which proves to be common. And if you keep trusting people after they betray you over and over, then trust someone again only to be betrayed again, there’s a word for that……….
