Since it first aired, audiences have been introduced to tons of memorable contestants and unforgettable fashion moments. While most fans have their favorite designers from the show, viewers don’t always keep tabs on all the details of their lives and careers outside the program. Because of this, it can be especially heartbreaking to discover the death of one of your favorite contestants. These are the “Project Runway” stars you might not know have passed away.

Project Runway (PR) has been one of my all time favorite shows since first airing on Bravo. From time to time, I’ll Google previous season contestants and winners to learn how PR was instrumental in changing their lives. For the contestants that have since lost their lives, to their families/friends, my deepest sympathy. RIP fellow designers……. You are all sorely missed.
