COP-21: The Clean Energy Ministerial: Implementation and Increasing Ambition beyond Paris (12/8)

The event will feature the role the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) will play post-COP21 as a key implementation forum to help countries put in place effective clean energy policies and programs to achieve their INDCs. The Department of Energy will highlight key achievements of the CEM and how U.S. engagement in this forum is contributing to the achievement of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan. The event will also address how CEM is a flagship multilateral forum of the United States to help forge a global response to climate change and accelerate the clean energy revolution. Joining the Department of Energy will be a panel of other CEM representatives who will highlight their own country’s role in the CEM.
