I was in the audience for this audition. The cat was a screen projection. Clever how they put it on stage for the TV showing.

Definitely, behind this cat there's very very highly professional singer. Voice control is somewhere beyond the skyline! It's pleasure to listen him. Last time I had such a pleasure when I was listening George Michael singing "Somebody to love" on concert in memory of Freddy Mercury in 1992. Eager to see his real face. Bravo !

I found this video about a week ago and I still can't get over it how amazing this is! Not only the voice; but this "animation" upon a screen is mind blowing! And yesterday I found out that Noodle has its own Youtube channel! I've binged all of its episodes & shorts today and came back to this where I found Noodle for the first time! Credits to the creator and singer! Love you Noodle and I'll support ya along the way!

I think the cat coughing up a "hair ball" was a clue, I believe the signer is Tom Ball. The voice is very similar to Tom's, I think it is him.

Excellent singer, whoever it is. Loved the song choice.
I have no idea how or who's behind it, but whoever it is is a genius.
I've never seen anything like this before, and how they made something like this with the facial expressions and the movements was just incredible.
