Pt.3 Ek Hatch Build | Taking It Apart To Make It BETTER! ( engine bay painting )

This week I tore apart our 97 Honda Civic Ek hatchback! I started by pulling the fenders, hood, bumpers, and side skirts off so that I could remove the B16 engine swap without messing anything up! Then I pulled the engine, decreased the bottom of the car, and then pressure washed the engine bay clean! I prepped the engine bay with a scotch Brite pad and some scuff stuff prep stuff and then got it ready to lay some paint! It looks amazing with the new engine bay paint and I can't wait to get it all back together next week!

I love that Trevor puts the extra 5 seconds into using tape on his paint cans when he pours. It drives me nuts watching all these other painters on you tube spilling paint all over the gd place like slobs.

I had a hatch the same color. She was unmolested and super clean and I had so many plans for her. I stacked up parts for her and just as I was about to build her I ended an 14 yr relationship and had to get rid of everything. I would be a dream come true to win this beauty and to be able to finally have a hatch as clean and beautiful as this masterpiece u have built. Keep up the awesome work.
