This always seemed silly to me because what if u had to run or fight someone, i mean even the slightest amount of movement would distort the look even depending on the type of shoelace. Besides it looks fine without it..
And for those of you wanting to crop things, just learn to sew, it's honestly not difficult at all and is really fun and challenges you to be creative and also uniform with structures and templates already designed by people decades before you were even born.
