We use Adobe Premire Pro to edit video. This is a very memory intensive program. To give you an idea of the performance enhancement, a 6 minute video took 33 minutes to render (format all footage and digital assets to 1080p) The 8 minute video you just watched took only 17 minutes! Also, we are now able to preview in HD without dropping frames. If you are not familiar, it simply means we can play video we are editing at normal speed and resolution without pauses and skipped frames. A very worth while upgrade and a bargain at the Amazon price.
This memory is compatible with nearly all Acer Aspire All in One desktop computers.

Hi Jason, I have been looking out for a video on RAM Upgrade for my Aspire 5600U. Yours is a god send. Thank You so much. Just wondered if I would encounter any problem to upgrade my current 4GB RAM to 16GB. The Acer website and support team tells me that the maximum RAM that my machine can take is only 8GB.
