U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger said Thursday afternoon that a suspect had surrendered after claiming to have explosives in his pickup truck parked outside the Library of Congress, prompting the evacuations of several buildings in the area.

Police said Floyd Ray Roseberry, 49, of North Carolina was taken into custody “without incident.”

Manger said he could not confirm whether explosives were found, but said that the suspect was dealing with a loss in his family and “other issues.”

There’s no explosives in the vehicle, I can already tell you that - the way he was talking live streaming on Facebook, you could tell he was too stupid to even make a firecracker

Oh, yeah. We're in a generation where "excuses matter". He had a valid reason for doing this everybody.
