I’ve owned many Swiss watches (including a Rolex and multiple Omegas) but out of all of them Tag Heuer quartz models will always have a special place in my heart. They’re great looking Swiss timepieces that you can bang around a bit without having to worry about scratching up the watch or damaging the movement. I’ve owned 3 quartz Tags now and they’re definitely some of my favorite pieces in my rotation. They’re perfect daily driver/ workhorse watches that will last for years and only require an occasional battery & seal change.

I know it's been 2 years since this video came out but because of you reviewing this watch made it easy for me to purchase the exact same one last night. I've always wanted to buy a Tag Heuer and after watching video it made so much easier for me to make my decision. Thank you for a great video and keep the great work.

Thank you for the great review! This video helped me when I bought this exact watch a couple of months ago. I could not be happier with it it looks incredible in real life and under different kind of lights. The accuracy is spot on to the minute several months after use.

I just bought the Formula 1 quartz. I’ve always wanted a Tag when I was a kid. My dad and aunt had one. Now at 39 I have one. I’m very happy. I want to get the Aquaracer quartz as my second Tag when I turn 40 or a Rolex Air King 14000.

I'm liking this model, simple and solid. Cheaper than automatic and no resetting the time. Looks great blue or black.

Always will have a soft spot for Tag. Was my first Swiss watch Good daily drivers. More of a “gateway” type watch, especially here in the US.

Tag Heuer is an amazing name and looks great when advertised. Only Omega and Rolex have as nice watch names. So proud to own Tag watches

I live in Aus. I have a mate that is a proper brand snob and thinks Omega is the best thing ever and Tag Heuer is crap. Well, since I got into watches, I’ve met so many people through work and just socially who have ignored Tags due to the usual nonsensical snobbery and almost all of them have eventually matured and bought a Tag when they get over the silliness. Buy whatever makes you happy, there’s not much more to it. As for me, I absolutely love me Tags and wear them proudly. They make me feel good.

I was bought this watch for my 50th Birthday. (I care not for watches one bit). So I wear it everyday, for everything for the last 4 years. It probably needs a clean and polish. Ironically when I used to dive it was with a £50 casio. My Tag has never been deeper than a swimming pool.

I own the blue dial automatic aqua racer and black dial formula 1 Tag Heurer for 7 years now. Still running strong, I always wanted a Rolex black dial date Submariner one day but until then great watches.

Great review. Tag diver quartz seems to be a good way to go. I'm actually interested in their solargraph version as well.

I have a Pro Diver 1000 38mm from the Timothy Dalton Bond Era. Perfect everyday fun watch.

I own Two "Early 2000 model" Quartz Tag Aquaracers. Both 38mm. One Black Dial & One Silver Dial. Best Watches I've ever owned. I completely Ignored the Big Watch Phase, except for getting a "chuckle" looking at the Coffee Cup Sized watches that People were wearing! 🤣

Hey there I really want the exact black and stainless steel model you have I would love the exact model number and year of it.
I would really appreciate it if you’d take the time out of your busy day to tell me if not that’s ok too I loved the video.

The watch looks gorgeous and solid. How much does it weigh ?

Is this one solar bowered or does it need a battery? Honestly, I'm on the fence of buying my first >$1.000 Watch, but I was kind of disappointed with all my cheaper automatic watches: Uninspiring movements, little power reserve, +/-30spd accuracy.. not a fan of that. I did prefer my Citizen and Casio Solar Quartz watches, esp. the radio controlled ones that never need a battery and are +/-0spd accurate. But I'm not sure if I really want to spend big boy money on a quartz or if I should get a luxury Automatic watch. Eh.
