Bill Dudley, former president of the New York Fed, says the Federal Reserve is "flying blind" because they don't know what's going to happen to economic growth. "Powell came in and gave a pretty dovish performance in the sense of, ‘We got this, we’re in a good place, we can afford to wait, we’ll see how it goes, we’re gonna get the job done,’” he said. Dudley speaks on "Bloomberg Surveillance: The Fed Decides."

Tariffs are a regressive tax that will torch the working poor.
They will be hungry and desperate.

People worldwide are BOYCOTTING American goods and the tariff war doesn't start until April 2nd. What kind of factoring did they do when predicting a recession???

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direct I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.

I’d say they are always flying blind but the question is can their instruments guide them through the storm?

Australia should cancel its $400 billion dollar deal for submarines for a start, especially now that the tech billionaires who own the US government wants to put extra tariffs on Australia.

There will no less than four rate cuts this year, once things start breaking in areas that nobody suspected.

Dudley good point labor supply growth much slower in 2025. In 2024, labor supply growth helped to cap inflation. Shouldn’t this now increase the susceptibility of inflation to Trump Tariff-led positive shocks to Prices?!

Hahahaa Transitory left for dead 😂, let's see let's see maybe he is right. Let's see, it's not easy what they are doing. Will have to give them a chance, very very very unique times very difficult for central bankers. Also I have to say whatever will happen it's not their fault here, there are many many moving parts.

Tariffs don't induce inflation. A sales tax is not inflation.
