Conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter spoke to CBSN Monday about her dispute with Delta Air Lines. She blasted the airline on Twitter over its handling of a seat change on a flight, and Delta pushed back, accusing Coulter of hurling "unacceptable and unnecessary" insults at customers and staff.

1:55 Delta literally just admitted _in print_ that if you dare to tell someone when Delta doesn't honor your ticket reservation then Delta will believe it's _you_ that's wronged _them._ They don't mind screwing people over, just as long as people never tell anyone. To Delta, someone mentioning their corruptness is "more important" (←their words!) than the fact that they're corrupt.

She has many good points. The tv guy has no sense,

As a tall person I completely get where she is coming from.
If you are a tall person the seat you have in an aircraft can mean hours of pain or comfort.

Went on Delta's website and sure enough they offer the ability to select your seat... they even advertise the extra size and greater reclining by 50%. As most know, the woman is very tall and she is a consumer just like you and I. Don't care for her political agenda much, but Delta was wrong. As for the CBS news anchor, terrible case of obvious bias when a professional should be objective.

CBSN Ann Coulter has as much right to complain about poor customer service as anyone. The CBSN reporter appears to be taking delight in the unfair treatment of Ms Coulter.
Airlines are getting militant towards their customers and it's got to stop. Delta employees need a communication course on how to explain why a customer is being bumped from the seat they purchased in advanced. Explaining the reason for the switch gives the customer assurance there is a valid reason.

The interviewer was being a bit ridiculous and wasn't discussing the point at hand instead pointing out to other things and attacking points of view vs. discussion. Sorry cbs..i agree with you most days but this guy was out of line.

The interviewer is out of order, if a passenger chooses a specific seat via the airlines booking system then the passenger should get the seat that they chose unless asked at checkin to move for a specific mutually agreeable reason.

Not a fan of her....but if she paid in advance for that seat, with the blessing of the carrier, , , she should stay in that seat...they could have just as easily put the new passenger in the other seat....not Coulter....

..what good is a reservation, if you can't support your reservation system then don't have one...

What a surprise, another CBS broadcaster seeking a negative angle for reporting about a conservative.

Hey CBS News, are you a news organization or a tabloid? You're interested in Coulter's reasons for choosing that seat, how about some curiosity for Delta's actions? Why did they move her? Was the reason legitimate or capricious? Did Delta target her because she has criticized them in the past? Did they target her because she is a prominent Conservative? Why are they not providing their reason? Delta's silence appears damning. I look forward to the results of your investigative journalism.

She was moved because she’s a Conservative!

Ann is done wrong here. Airline can not act with impunity and let sit people anywhere they want. She paid for the seat and they chose not to let her sit. This is not value for money. Totally unprofessional on deltas side.

Like her or hate her, this overbooking thing needs to stop. No one can be expected to receive this well.

The interviewer was very unprofessional. He obviously doesn't like her and can't do his job objectively.

She's obviously right. Would you not be upset if this happened to you?

Ann is once again totally correct. What is there to discuss. Delta was wrong!

I really hate Ann Coulter, but there does seem to be an assholish trend of airlines doing this to people for almost no reason.
