Very cute block! At first look it looks challenging but watching you break it down - it is steps that we have down before. Practice makes gorgeous quilts! 😍

Very interesting. I opened the pdf from etsy - looks like we or at least I am learning a new technique. Exciting!

Did you hear about the buddy system to use smaller rulers? You can turn either long ruler to go across the fabric to get 6 1/2", then use another ruler to get the rest measured butted up to the side. Like you can get a straight edge with 2 rulers to cut long bias cuts etc. Take away the one that is in your way and cut, put it back and move the other ruler along, take it away again and finish up. Yes it's complex, but sometimes needed. Have you seen the 1/2" ruler for drawing lines on square centres? I use masking tape and pens to mimic the sewing tape they sell, to line up on your needle so I don't need to draw lines on fabric. I did that before I saw it, mine has more than ×3, 1/4" lines on it, it's cheap to replace too.

Stacey, Hi! I just purchased downloads for the first nine blocks and of course will be purchasing this one, #10, and the remainder to come in the future. My question is, where can I find, or can you give me approximate fabric requirements for the entire quilt including sashing if there will be any and borders, if I want to make each block out of the same several fabrics? Thank you in advance.
