It can be tough, like you said depending on what state you're in can be a bit hopeless. I'm currently in my 12th year as an Electrician/Electrical Engineer and I'm doing pretty good as an independent electrician in the Maryland, DC - Virginia region but when I tried in New Jersey it felt impossible to succeed. Great video.

In michigan you have to have 6 years. 4 to test for journeyman, another 2 to test for masters, then take the electrical contractors test

So how much is your overhead? You should do a collab with Upflip. How much is your revenue a year as well if you don’t mind us asking?..

That’s a lot to chew on.
But look.
You can’t be fully ready. No entrepreneur/business owner read a book, took a test and made a self-sufficient company in a year or even 5-10 years for that matter. They didn’t even master their craft. You will literally learn this stuff as you go.
Marketing and sales will come as you go.
Hire independent contractors if you can’t afford full time employees.
Use thumbtack, Tasker, handy. Until you’re able to generate your own leads.

Yes everything he said is true. But figure it out as you go.
Bills will get high but continue to tweak your business until you can float again.

You may get sued and go out of business. Open another LLC.

Life isn’t a multiple choice answer(in most cases). And if you choose the wrong letter you fail. Life is totally about failing and tweaking the little stuff along the way. You got this. It’s fun. It’s just serious. But You got this!

Hi, would you set up an LLC, S-Corp or C-corp? I'm starting a partnership to do an electrical service business, start out just me and my partner and we may hire on 1 to 3 people. If you already have a video on this can you please point me to it, I tried searching but no luck. Thanks for the help and love the channel! Thanks again Bud!
