Activision needs to learn that customers ultimately make money not bail outs or the exploitation of those who blindly buy things. If they were driven by maintaining customers and making new customers instead of maximizing profits with the current customers they would make more profit.

Activision is following what a lot of corporations are doing, and that is to cut the cost of production (in this case, by reusing assets, and recycling content) to maximize profit. Being creative and creating fresh, new content costs more, so they won't do it. It's a trend that's killing everything nowadays. Your reboots and remakes are just cost-cutters.

Last time COD was consumer friendly was COD WW2. You unlocked base dlc weapons through challenges and if you wanted the nicer skins you just grinded quartermaster contracts to earn drops. They rewarded you for playing

Playing AW you could earn part of optic skin for your suit, you had to collect the body, pants, gloves, helmet, gun skin, this is what makes a game fun for casual players.

This is the result of pleasing the boardroom/shareholders and not the game’s customer base. Money made on a spreadsheet is more important than the amount of game modes on a games homepage.

while it's not common MWIIs player count has been under 50k players a couple of times on steam charts and I would say it's probably under/close to 100k players right now

I miss the days of going to the store, paying $60 for a new video game, going home to play it and being able to unlock anything and everything in the game till my hearts content. Now you buy a video game and there is nothing for you to do in it

This might be a stretch but remember when MW2 dropped last year with those crispy nice solid color skins for the guns and like 3 weeks later they updated the skins by toning down the color making them less flattering? Those skins were free and a lot better than what was in the store and battle pass at that time. It's insane how they don't want to give you anything cool looking unless you grind out like 1000 plus hours using every gun. Nice vid.

We need to make laws that make it illegal to charge over the games original value in microtransactions. Therefor all DLC would have to fit in that 60/70 dollar price range. We'd get a shit ton more content out of it because they would have to put the entire year into 4, 3 or even 1 or 2 big bundles.

Cod still has a few cards left. They can listen to the community, and if they keep dying off they have remakes, and if all else fails they have a bo2 style remake with every hit map, game mode, gun, ect all put into one game but that’ll kill the franchise after they release it because that’ll divide the community up for 5+ years

Nero I’ve been on the older cods for a few weeks now. Tonight I got a call from my buddy to play war zone. It’s terrible. Laggy gunfights. Hit registration all over the place. Even get disconnected from host when we both have good internet over 250 gbps and we’re both running Lan cables. Four games was all it took for me to close app and go play some bo3 zombies. I just can’t believe how bad it’s gotten and going back to the older games has showed me all over again just how bad.
