I was at an outdoor music festival known as "shwagstock" in a little place called middle of USA, year... unknown... and i snorted a fat ole line of K. Transported to 1973, Monte Carlo F1 series. The scene was all in grainy technicolor. All the sounds from the race were replaced by an intense dub track, and all the instruments of the dub track were replaced by classic race sounds. The revving/humming of the engine, the screeching of the tires, sounds from the pit crew screwing and unscrewing bolts for the tires, the roar of the crowd... All were synched up and built up and broke down with the most amazing rhythm and beat. Everything was in reverse. The "camera" panned across the crowd and the "music" built up with chopped a screwed crowd noise, then as the rhythm broke down and the beat dropped the camera switched to the wheel well then it switched to an above shot of the car and the beat changed. Everything was in reverse so all the cars were driving backwards. Suddenly a car lies disintegrated on the track builds itself back into a car, driving, in reverse... to the beat. Flying tires pop into tire wells. I opened my eyes, sitting in a camping tent, my friends were talking. Closed my eyes. Transported to a still painting of a vase of flowers. A fly buzzing, lands on the painting. Everything is quiet.

Oh yesss! Sverdlovsk at night. Used to love wandering the streets there. Bumped into a lot of crowded buses and trams loads of passenger high on vodka lol. Them were the days. Seeing the traffic going in reverse is cool, really different and goes well with the mix, nice n funky dub tech. Thanks for the mix.
