Maybe 10 years ago when stationed overseas, a guy in my squadron was giving out baggies of something similar, pretzels with those little snicker bites leftover from Halloween. The snickers were melted over the pretzel. He said his wife made them, and she had won an award submitting the recipe to a magazine. It was thoughtful that she would continue to make them and have her husband share with the rest of us.

I totally did something similar to this last Christmas, Pretzel bark... melted chocolate, broken pretzels sticks and toasted chopped peacans. (You are right the toasting gives them an amazing flavor!) Mix together, spread out on parchment then let firm up in fridge and break into pieces. This year I'm thinking Kahlua fudge.

All of these are easy and delicious! The rolo one is the best especially if the caramel becomes crisp and slightly burnt. So good! Such a great gift!

I recommend melting the Rolos for 3-4 minutes. That way, they will melt decadently when you press down on the pecan
