So where are we supposed to find the official CPI percentage for our city? Because I am being screwed over by my landlord at the moment where they are trying to raise my rent by 28% for the year, but I didn’t get an exemption notice.

I thought that I was possibly exempt because I am renting with a section 8 voucher, but apparently they are just trying this to see if they can get away with this nonsense.

Can a landlord reduce agreed services (laundry and washer) if the City claims a code violation where the laundry and washer are located? I am under the assumption the tenant can continue to use the laundry and washer services as long as the landlord is working with the City to correct the violation. Is my assumption correct?
