Help Me, Rhonda (Stereo)(Version 2) The Beach Boys

This is a second stereo mix of Help Me, Rhonda, this version i overdubbed castanets that were from a previous Rhonda session and a somewhat different piano hook spliced from the alternate single version which is what this version is based off of but without the "wah wah" vocal overdub from Brian Wilson.

Mike and Dennis's bass parts are kind of covered in the official mixes, so all you hear is BOW BOW BOW BOW BOW. That's all I thought was in the song as for Mike, and I didn't even know Dennis sang the "ronnn, ronnn" part with Mike. When you can hear their vocals fully it adds to the sway and feel of the song so much more. Kind of an underrated vocal performance I feel... has so much groove!

Love it! "Help Me, Rhonda" has alway been my favorite BB song. BTW, Al Jardine is missing from the album cover ... anyone know why?
