I think people some have not seen the tent camper accessory. As it is here, it's a solution to a question no one asked. Not very useful, but with the tent camper, it becomes something very useful, a one person, in the woods instant tent camper. check out the videos that show the topper ez lift, tent camper.
I think that's the only realistic use for this. I would have no use for this as is.
But as a tent camper, I really want one. they should spend more of their time, designing really cool tents of all kinds to attach to the truck shell. I thinks that is its only future.
the later videos show it supporting 900 pounds. so you can leave your canoe and roof basket on, while it is raised.

I would jump on this if you could get an extra 17 inches for a reasonable standing height inside. Doesn't seem like it should take much.... maybe riser extensions or some type of folding extension and locking-bar?

I like these. I would love them if you could get that opening to 6 feet. Even with a high camper it's just not quite standing height!

It would be amazing if you guys came out with a tonneau cover friendly version. I really dont like toppers, I like the truck look, so I love my diamondback cover. If you guys adapted a plate to go under the diamondback with connection points for the hydraulic and connection points to mount the diamondback it could lift the whole thing. You'd capture a whole new market of people.

I love The idea of this product but I am afraid it may not hold up to the winds we see in the Autumn and Winter in my area of Wyoming.
