Nike is an interesting brand. They're reasonably forward-thinking, and the Nike Adapt Auto Max has been out since November 20202 and features adjustable laces that you can control via an app or on the shoes. Sarah really wanted to check these out.

Purchases made through some store links may provide some compensation to Linus Media Group.

"I have to update the firmware in my shoes"
I hope I never say those words

Never change what you're doing, Linus Media Group writers. Y'all have the perfect level of throwing in jokes without being over the top, or without being under and boring. Y'all got the formula down pat lol.

Sarah has been such an amazing addition to the team. She has cheerfulness that borderlines on obnoxious, without ever crossing the line, that always makes her videos fun.

"Hang on guys I gotta charge my shoes!"

These are the things we can say in 2022. What a time to be alive.

What I like about LMG, and especially Short Circuit, is that they can take a subject/object I'd have 0 interest in (in this case, shoes that aren't strictly practical), and get me to watch an entire video on it.
I've grown an appreciation for every host, as they all have something unique to their type of hosting, and make learning about their specialty actually entertaining.

Keep up the great work y'all.

I'm disabled and once this goes down in price, this tech will be amazing for folks like me. I am currently wearing shoes 2 sizes too big just to have them laced permanently

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING 😀😀😀

i think we found what type of reviews sarah should do, linus and the boys would probably spend the majority of the video mocking people who buy sneakers but sarah is more relatable in this departement. SARAH for fashion products and secret shopper !!!

"I need to update firmware in my shoes" That's not the future I wanted to back to!

I like the smart shoe idea, they have the components to work as a pedometer.
The charge pad is pretty much two phone chargers attached to a board.

Needing to attach to a proprietary app, and the data usage, is kind of a bummer.

The only data the phone should interact with is direct functions, like the lights and fitting, and sensors as raw for use any compatible fitness app.
Not shady spy stuff for corporations, generally that sort of thing lowers value( like the 'cheap' smart TVs ).

They could do some interesting things with future versions such as integrating pressure sensors into the footbed to aid in improving running form and gait. Also they should make the charger a weight scale and switch to a right angle cord or integrate it underneath so it can fit up to a wall. They should also use a pull loop as a switch for fully tightening and loosening them for putting them on and off.
