I spent a month in Tanzania with Antipodeans Abroad when I was 15 in 2008. I can't wait to go back. Everyone was lovely and so hospitable. Climbing Mt Meru was amazing.

Sorry mate, there's no 'education' involved in defanging snakes. You probably wouldn't have uploaded a bit about a tribe dancing with blinded dogs or any other maimed animal..

In Arizona, Hopi men dance with snakes, rattlesnakes included, on the last day of a 16 day water/rain ceremony. Male members of the snake and antelopes clans dance with them in hand or mouth with an attendant armed with a Snake Whip which is stick with two eagle feathers. They stroke the snake with the feathers to keep the snake from coiling. There's alot more to it. But I'm Navajo and haven't witnessed one for myself 😐😑😐😐

There message is nice but then defanging the snakes is just contradicting what they are trying to do, defanging the snake does nothing but hurt it and is totally unethical. All it does it prevent you from getting venom injected into you, those poor snakes. I feel bad for them even if this is their culture that isn’t ok.

Africa seems to have a lot of groups who have a normal job but add dancing to it. Case in point: the dancing pallbearers. Yet to be seen: dancing plumbers, dancing lawyers, and dancing grocery store clerks.
