no hay duda rolf tiene mucha tecnica y es muy bueno la mayoria lo critica por omitir y cambiar ciertos ritmos originales de la cancion pero lo unico que hace es interpretar a su modo y estilo ademas disfruta de la rola. (estaba esperando a ver cuando se le volaba las baquetas )

I'm no drummer, but I think he's great. Only wish he'd play the songs the way Jörg did, Jörg's fills were perfect.

When a new drummer arrives to a band it is expected that he brings his own personality to it. Drummers should never try to play the songs the way the last drummer did. Yeah, many people will hate that they do not play the song the same again, but that is just part of the evolution of a band. Look at Helloween, Dani Loble doesnt play the songs exactly the way the band did back in the 90's, sadly IMO his drum rolls in the Eagle Fly Free drum solo suck, but he is stll doing it his way, the way it is meant to be. Gladly for Stratovarius, Rolf is giving it his own drum rolls that don't go too far from the original ones, and they feel perfect in the songs and gives the band a total new and fresh look. I love it.

Why have 2 bass drums if you're gonna use use a double bass pedal and actually use only 1 bass drum? Makes no sense at all in my opinion, and if it's just for looks then it really makes no sense what so ever!
