so question can you use an over lay to help with too much contrast. so for instance like adding and over lay to make your video look more flatter?

For all those thinking of going to University to do a BA Hons Filmmaking course for 3 years, save your money, I've learnt more through self-study than I actually get taught by tutors at the University, all you get to do at University are projects to do using these cool effects you're watching on youtube. Any example we do get shown in tutorials at University are from youtube videos the tutors find to show us, so we are paying a university to teach us filmmaking from youtube videos like this one. Only difference is that after 3 years I've paid £58k to have a scroll of paper with a degree certificate, that shows I can pass a course, doesn't necessarily mean I will be a hotshot editor or filmmaker, but I have a degree that says I am?

How would this work for let’s say tik tok? Or reels?, would I have to record the tv vertical and insert the clip horizontally or both verticat? Since tiktok format is 9:16
