This was a great video and made installation a breeze.

The only thing I HIGHLY recommend to anyone installing this is:

Put the shroud back on first before snapping in the new grill.

If you follow the exact steps by working backwards, it is a huge pain to try and get it back in.

It makes no sense to do this.

Just easily put it back while you have the grille off, and easily snap the new grill back in.

Easy breezy.

Also, a suggestion: After getting the old grill off, reinstall that mid-level shroud and latch trim before the new grill. You only removed it to get access to release the tabs without breaking them, so you don't need access to push the new tabs in. The mid-level shroud and latch cover are much easier to install with the grill off, once they are on you just snap the new grill on and put the top bolts in and reinstall the top baffle/trim.

One thing I think would be cool would for the F O R D letters to be translucent so they could be back-lit with LED's.

Greatly appreciate this tutorial. Followed the steps and fixed my raptor grill. Removing the stock grill was a huge challenge tho!

REMOVAL is trickier than it looks to to work the tabs. You need to stick a small flat screwdriver into the tab and work it. "Push down" is not exactly the way you do it. If you push in, horizontal with the ground, twist is slightly, it releases easily. The grill is nice add on and my wife wants the same for the Expy!

Thanks for the video. Not sure if it's been suggested yet, but you can slide the shroud back into place before clipping the new grill in.

Just installed the new ford performance grille they offer. If it wasn’t for those damn bottom tabs it would have taken like 10 minutes. It really changes the overall appearance of the truck. Oh I have a white 2021 fx4 crew.

If you are having any sort of trouble with the bottom 5 tabs on the grill I highly recommend using the flathead on your leatherman/ multi tool. I used my rebar and it saved my ass. Took me 20 minutes to get one before I used it. Got the other 4 in 30 seconds

I would recommend painting the new grill with rust oleum bedliner spray before attaching it… It’ll give it a really cool look. Thanks for the video

Got mine on Friday from you guys installed today with the LED lights I would recommend you put the LED lights on before you install this because the install for the lights video is on the OE grille and they don't tell you that the lights are screwed into the tall brackets not the two screws in the grille.

Just received my replacement grill after ordering two months ago (Ford's delay, not Stage 3's). I've watched this video a few times and he says you'll have "12" longer screws for the top tabs??? I hope that was mis-spoken because my new grill came with letters and tabs mounted. I even turned on the closed-captions to be sure of what I thought I heard. Going to install it this weekend. Lot's of good hints in here. Oh and I'm only replacing mine because mine was busted when a truck tire retread came off a semi on the interstate, car in front of me hit and it flew up and slammed in to my OEM grill at 70+ mph. Grrrr. Guess I was lucky it didn't hit the windshield.

Can you reinstall the inner shroud first before putting the grille on to make it easier? I figure the only reason you need to remove it is to get to the grille clips but if they can just click into place it makes sense?

Any idea if this will be updated for the Tremor grille? I actually love the red accents on the 2021 Tremor grille. Would love to see this Raptor grille but with the added red trim.
