Both look great on you but the mauve looks amazing with your skin tone and looks "happier and warmer" if that makes sense. I think the black needs something, like accessories to make it pop, but the mauve is good on its own because you can see the details on it more clearly. In the end, choose the one that makes you happy, both look great!

Keep both! But if you only want to keep one, I'd keep the mauve. The color is gorgeous on you. And so many people default to black (totally guilty of this myself!) that if you wear color you'll stand out more. Better in photographs too. That said, if you think the black will have more longevity in your wardrobe and be more versatile, it's also a great choice. You look beautiful!

I love the mauve color on you but the dress in that color looks like it’s too big for you. The black looks better I think because the dark color disguises the extra fabric.
