Fun fact: if you type 'excitedze' in the crafting recipe search option, the language changes to "pirate speak" automatically.

You remember the old achievements?
When thay had changed to advancements, they removed the "The Cake is a lie" achievement.
I KNEW THEY WERE STILL HIDING THAT REFERENCE IN THE GAME SOMEWHERE!

The way Tackle is prenounsed is very similar to the way we pronounce Vakkel in Dutch.

Dutch is just like English a western gernanic language and is kinda between German and English.

"Icarus's" is proper, and in fact historically, more proper. The other way is, sadly, also proper now. I prefer the first, it makes more sense, and what I was taught in school was that you only drop the s after the apostrophe if the first s was due to a word being pluralized. For example, the dogs' toy basket (multiple dogs). Common (and IMO sloppy and less educated) use has led to people dropping the s after the apostrophe even for non-plural terms more and more, until now it's become accepted as a stylistic choice. But it doesn't make sense to me and it's not how you pronounce things (think about it), so I'm disappointed to see that one become accepted. Language evolves, though, and nothing stays improper forever in the face of what starts as slang or sloppiness or simple misunderstanding or lack of education and spreads to become common use.

Anglish, is by far the best. My and my brother use it all the time. When you click on your bed, it says “edstarting ord set”.

Shakespeare summed up as "crazy old English". Said of the man that wrote “Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.” Said by the man who's only Shakespearean reference is "obviously, where are art thou Romeo"...

Anglish would work very well on a RP server or adventure map.

"Thackle" is similar to the Norwegian word for torch, which is "fakkel". They're probably cognates.
