No, we Americans and the British did not win the war against Nazi Germany by ourselves.  The French forces fought alongside and fought well - the French Army, Free French, French Army of the Interior - le Resistance, French colonial troops - and were ably led by such generals as DeGaulle, Leclerc, DeLattre, Koenig, etc.  They were there and the honor of France was ensured.  Vive la France !!

Many people forget about the pivotal role the Free French and the later refounded French army had in the war.If you wish I can tell the reason why but it's always easier to joke right? P.S. I'm not even French.

I have learnt German language since I was 10, I love Germany, being there three times already. I know WW2 was the suicide of Europe but it is not the point of the video. I am only translating and showing to non-Francophone people some documents about French Military History. I am not removing it.

I knew a great and humble man a Warrant Officer, who fought in this army under the General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny a truly outstanding French army general during World War two. The quality of the film is outstanding.

it is the french who came up with tank designs that will be used by all sides in world war 2 and beyond. france built the first tanks with rotating turrets during world war one. so everybody say thank you France . and also the ideas of the lightning war also comes from general degaul himself, the Germans studied his idea and used it successfully in the western front and the invasion of russia.
