Thanks for sharing this. I love the yucca. It was tried at a Cuban restaurant. Immediately I loved it. Garlicky and buttery sauce!, 😋 it was quite scrumptious. Anyways I now know how to preparation of the yucca/cassava and I will cook it! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this great tutorial on preparing this! I love yuca boiled, but never knew how to remove the nuisance of a stem. I prefer to remove b4 cooking too. One less thing to bother with after cooking. This is very easy to understand. I will soak them too, they have very tough skins, and I see the water softens them for easier peeling! Thank you again, I see how much trouble I went through not knowing how to deal with this root vegetable 😊

You can also boil and mashup and season it, make it into round balls then fry, in deep fryer, we called that cassava puff, also can boil egg and put it in that same mixture and fry, called that egg ball, and more
