The first time I listened to Headhunterz or Hardstyle in general was at my best friends house 9 or 10 years ago. His brother listened to Hardstyle at that time and we heard it in my friends room or his brothers car, while he was driving me home. Classics like Noisecontrollers, Wildstylez, Brennan Heart and Headhunterz.
At that time I mostly listened to Billy Talent (favorite band to this day) or Mainstream-Radio Stuff. But especially with Headhunterz' music, I fell in love with and still love it to that day. He's the one who shaped my taste in music and for that I'm more than grateful. I loved Dragonborn when it first came out, cos I loved playing Skyrim (still play it). I cried when he left the scene and shed tears of joy when he came back. The path he took, was the path I followed. When it came to my taste in music, he helped me shaping it. Today I mostly listen to Rawstyle and sometimes Hardcore, but Hardstyle and Headhunterz will always have a special place in my heart. Nowadays, in my group of friends, me and another dude are the only ones listening to Hardstyle and he also “grew up“ with your music.
All I can say now is: Thank you, Willem. You're one of the few people that actually shaped a part of me. I wish you the best for your future and that you achieve everything you want. <3

Literally anyone I know that never heard hardstyle before I’ve send this song: they all said... I get this weird tingly feeling all over me. It’s so building up until the climax. It can bring tears of joy and power.

Absolutely amazing. Just went on a 1 week trip into nature, no stimulation, no music. This is the first song I listened to and I had an uncontrollable stream of tears of joy pouring down my face. My favourite song since your return heady! I am sincerely grateful for your music.

I used to hate edm music since I’m a musician but after I found Headhunterz and Hardstyle I have come to find out it’s one of my favorite genres of music. Heady never disappoints it just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to get a chance to see heady at a festival hopefully at defqon.1 one day.
