Vilgax Tribute

For this second day of the Festival, I am bringing you a villain of galactic reach! Vilgax World Conqueror! As I said recently when commenting on Michael Harlan's video on Vilgax (Which you find suggested at the top right of this video): Vilgax gave me the impression of being a constant and omnipresent presence, when in fact his number of episodes in the series original is very low. This shows how impactful his presence was when he was on screen. For Design I have always preferred the original to the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien versions (also because they gave me too many Darkseid Vibes making me lose the fascinating side it had in the original series). However, he remains a very valid character and a worthy main antagonist for the young Ben.

Lyrics fits him pretty well. Vilgax was exiled, injured, imprisoned in the Null Void, thrown into space, even forced to serve Diagon, yet never surrendered, but instead continued to pursue his goals.

Epic tribute to the arch enemy of two generations of tennysons! Admittedly he did degrade a bit as a threat as the series went on, but the classic incarnation still sends chills down my spine.

Ah yes, Ben Tennyson’s most relentless arch nemesis. He only appeared in a surprising few episodes in the original series, but made one HECK of an impact. One of the OGs next to Kevin and Ghostfreak.

I should really start watching Ben 10 soon as Vilgax seems like a really cool villain. I love the song choice for him a lot and the video definitely showcases his power well so I enjoyed it a lot, another great video for the festival!

I loved the original design of Vilgax. Just a dark enigmatic imposing being that radiates malice and a willingness to do whatever it takes to survive and get to what he wants. He was terrifying to me as a kid, just an absolute badass.
He really struck me as a version of Darth Vader that didn't NEED the force since he'd kill you either way.

Vilgax is Ben’s most dangerous foes in the classic series, his intimate knowledge of the Omnitrix and its capabilities and functions was what made him so dangerous.

I honestly love Vilgax. He's probably the closest thing we got to the main antagonist of Ben 10. I will say, though, I'm mostly a fan of his design and presentation in the original series. I guess they had to ditch the cyborg stuff because he was too similar to Darth Vader or something, but at least they made up for it by pretty much making him a God. For a character as relentless as him, you definitely did him justice. So much of his endeavours to dominate his enemies are very well shown here, and the song choice, as usual, is on point. A fitting tribute to the warlord.

Second day at the festival and what a fantastic tribute for Vilgax this brings back good old memories.

The original Ben 10 was one of my childhood favorites. Vilgax had one of the most intimidating appearances I've ever witness as a young child. I do also like Alien Force but to me nothing tops the original.

Awesome work to Vilgax Arkham! Really great how you managed to fit the OG and AF together in this. I’m probably one of the few people here that likes AF Vilgax lol but it was great seeing a lot of his moments! Hope to see more Ben 10 villains from you in the future like Eon or Albedo! Til then I’m hyped for the TFP Villains video!

Alien Force remains my favourite era, but.... yeah, Vilgax's best design was in the Original Series by far. He did kinda lose some of his aura in the sequel, though it's often exaggerated by OG fans.

With that said, great tribute^^ Thanks for giving one to one of my favourite cartoon villains.

Wow I need to rewatch Ben 10 for yet another time my Dear Arkham. Tribute is Great as always and of course keep it up and Long Live The Arkham.
