Now that, was a particularly interesting video, thank you. I live in a low population area in North West France, and my internet provider is so bad we still have copper wire and the horror stories I hear about how badly the "up grade" to fibre would make even your hair curl. I need speed and reliability which is why I am looking into Starlink as a possible option.

Like you I make 'how to' videos for Youtube. The last 18 minute video I made took over 5 hours to up load. Enough said!

Since we talked about this on friday night live chat, I've seen an improvement in random sites and apps that seem to freeze in the initial loading stage. Early days but hoping this is going to be the final fix in what has become a very stable ISP!

Thanks again for giving such clear explanations. I noticed when you had the time out the other two had high pings around the same time. I did a check like you said, set it up and went to town for supper. Copied and parsed the information in Excel. Just over 8900 pings and Google and CloudFlare were almost identical in performance. OpenDNS had less timeouts but overall had more >55 ms pings. Great idea about setting up secondary from a different provider.

This was one of your best videos.... I was able to follow along with you. In my case, the performance was close with a sight edge to Cloudflare. So, like you, I am using Cloudflare as my primary and Google as my secondary. I will see if I notice anything new.... Thanks...
