I had a great time because in my theater, there was a 10 year old to my left who probably snuck in and to my right there was an old guy. so every time there was the sound of a bone snapping, and if youve seen this movie then you know that there are alot of those, I heard sadistic laughter from the 10 year old and a bunch of "oh my"s from the old guy like george tecai lol.

To this day it blows my mind that Warner Bros is more than happy to spend millions of dollars on A-list actors, expensive CGI, elaborate sets, marketing, and all the usual Hollywood blockbuster trappings, but they won't fork over the cash to hire good screenwriters for the DCEU.

Naming this film "Birds of Prey" makes no business sense: the Mainstream Audience already knows who Harley Quinn is, so naming the movie after her would make way more *Marketing* sense, no..? 🤔

I completely agree about Marvel's female characters. Other than GotG and Black Panther, they feel like a complete afterthought, just hypercompetent serious people who do stuff, but don't show any character traits because they're "strong and independent". It's like the end of Game of Thrones, where the women have to choose between being stoic machines or crazy wrecks. I will say Marvel is getting better in this regard, but very slowly.

I’m a huge Harley fan so I obviously love this movie. But I also love how they didn’t over sexualize Harley. I personally think there’s the people who like Harley because in comics she’s “sexy” I guess you’d say and the other Harley fans who just love that character for who she is without caring bout her body or shit

It’s definitely flawed, but for the first time in a while, I was entertained by a DCEU movie from start to end. I actually enjoyed this film, may even see it again. Ya know, if it shows up on Netflix or something like that, Ill totally give it another go.
