My son has Tourette's Syndrome and is doing awesome! This is not a death sentence! As long as you are there for your child, raise them to have morals and to do their best; they will be just fine. And usually by adulthood (age 21) they'll grow out of it. I hope this eases your worries and your tears can turn from sorrow to happiness! 😊

I feel so bad for Loren, the way her mother in law reacted was pretty harsh, I know her intention wasn't at all to hurt Loren but that is pretty hurtful.

It is a serious thing for the future grandmother to worry about but ultimately it's the parents choice whether they want to have their own kids, adopt, or not have any at all

Ah I feel so bad for her, it's not like she's passing down something that could kill a child. No body's perfect, you can't have a perfect baby. Part of being a parent is that love you have for you're child that doesn't come close to anything else!x

I honestly don't even think Loren should have shared this with her MIL. It's obvious that her MIL knows nothing about the disorder, but every time Loren talks about it, Loren cries. If Loren had acted like it was no big deal, I don't think she would have been met with this reaction. What isn't understood can be scary...I think that's why the MIL is so sad. I hope they are able to move past this.

Tourettes can be life altering for many people. For Loren her tourettes is very mild. It can literally get to the point where someone can't even communicate because of the tics

Honestly these people are so dramatic. Also, it is super weird how Lorens parents didn't know it was hereditary. Like you have a whole child with the syndrome and all these years you've never thought to check if it can be passed down? Bizarre.

I have tourettes and i dont get why they're so dramatic about it. She has a very light form of tourettes. It's no big deal
