Shane Douglas is one of the wrestlers that I have respected more than just about anybody of all time! He speaks the truth you don’t care about the feelings he’s not trying to get fans he’s just being a man! Even in character, my opinion, of course!

The 2 men who MADE Mikey Whipwreck a star.
Mic and Austin.
Mic has had the most memories made in the the biz. NO ONE TOPS HIM.

The entire WWF in the 80’s was built on Hulk Hogan having 24 inch pythons and being the “body guy”.
Literally the entire WWF was being sold on Hulk Hogans image.

I remember Flair called Foley a stuntman

Foley worked that way because he had to. He wasn't willing to exercise, so found another way. I can't remember the exact words, but Mick took a shot at Hogan in his first book. As usual, dear Cactus gets criticized in return and can't handle it.

I think the "early bird ain't no worm" means that people who go to the gym first thing in the morning aren't skinny and soft like worms. Basically, he's saying that a wrestler should be dedicated enough to wake up early and start hangin' and bangin', brother.

The Royal Rumble Mick did the Three Faces of Foley gimmick sealed his talent as a wrestler. he has to go back to the locker room (probably banged up), change quickly only to go back out. Loved Mankind Fued with the Undertaker. Bang! Bang!

Who haven’t hurt Mick feelings? But that was random AF when Hogan went in on him like that

Mick Foley's success really wasn't so much in his ability to work or take bumps. It was that he was able to tap in to the fan's hearts and make them feel for him. He brought them on an emotional journey with them and so when he was taking those bumps, you were feeling them vicariously through him. And when he won, you were winning vicariously through him. IThe Hulk Hogans and Ric Flairs have never had that ability to make the fans feel for them.

Cactus Jack looked like a jobber but he wasn't.

It's amazing Mick made it so far in the 80s-90s with his build without muscles and definition.

I know Foley was naturally big at 6'4 300 with wide shoulders but he was shaped like a pear and he didn't have a face like Bret or Shawn to put on the cover of the 90s WWF magazine.

Hogan was famous as a personality. Mick was legendary as a performer who made his opponants look amazing, win or lose. The Hell in a Cell match will always be one of the most amazing matches to ever be done.

if Hulk was foleys size and build he would have never made it past jobber And if foley was Hulks size and build he would have been Bruiser Brody

Look at hogan now and look at foley, physically the hardcore legend appears in better shape if recent pictures are anything to go by.

I wonder how "sensitive" Mick would be in an interview being asked about encoraging Daffney to take a stupid bump ("it'll be as memorable as hell in a cell") that led to her CTE, which led to her decision to take her life?...🤔
