Bach 2 Part Invention No.14 (legato) P. Barton, FEURICH Harmonic Pedal piano

This is the second of 2 recordings of Invention 14 played with a legato touch. The first recording has a staccato touch.

In this recording series the 4th harmonic pedal is used in resonance half-position which gives controllable harmonic reverberation in the average sized room at home.

My mother played this invention for as long as I can remember. I have learned to play it. I like the slower pace of this recording.

Here’s a fun tip: don’t play this song super duper fast if you have a crappy memory like me. I could physically play it fast, but as soon as I’d record myself I’d get nervous and my memory would go blank. I slowed it down a bit to give myself more time to think (and calm down) and it worked pretty well!

The 22 is being wrongly edited by everyone. The rithm of the left hand has a longer pause so the B only comes in the 3rd beat and not the 2nd. Everyone is making the same mistake!!!

Bar 22 is wrong in the left hand. It's two voices but the last note is only in the 3rd beat. The rests are diferen in right hand and left hand. Please correct this. Everybody is doing this wrong, even Lang Lang!!!
