PS3 Slim CECH-3001B disc not spinning

Update: A cable was unplugged and now the console works after the cable was plugged in

If this unit has lots of Hrs playing I would suggest to check the motor by disconnecting it from the board or desoldering one cable from the motor and connecting 2 wires to the motor it could be alligator cables and use a 1.5 volt battery if the disk spins in both directions without any help the motor is good
Then it will be the driver circuit

Most likely a fuse on the motherboard responsible for sending power to the disc drive motor.
It can blow if there is to much resistance on the motor maybe form a scratched disc or a dirty disc drive, hope this helps.

I had that problem before and I fixed it so the problem is cd drive is stucked check the screws

I wouldn’t say its the laser because even then if its dirty the lens will still have to try and read the data on the disc. It wont just immediately deny the disc.

Phat and slim had problems but super slim was like a revolutionary product with very less problems and solution of older models

It's the mechanical pieces in the drive itself, the stabilizing claps didn't engage so the spin motor won't engage, more specifically it's the bottom stabilizer clamp

It is probably a laser or a motor issue if I had to guess

The reason why it’s not working is because either is a motor is burned out which and a PlayStation 3. It is really really easy for those motors to burn out Over there something in the pack of the tray that’s what it looks like. It looks like the disk isn’t getting to where it needs to be in the right response so just check the tray and clean it up.
