Maya don't worry. I love your channel. I understand filling your life with things. I started cooking school because I want to do something different in the 2nd half of my life. In the mean time my father died and my mom is 84 with dementia. Needless to say working a fulltime job, 2 houses, mom and school. Throw in a teenager and I have a full life.

I really loved this vlog Maya! Everything you spoke about success was so timely because it’s something I’m currently working through and trying to understand. I’m learning that success doesn’t mean reaching a certain job or title or even meeting the expectations that others place on us. I’ve always been a people pleaser and sought the approval of others, even when it came to getting my degree. I didn’t really enjoy learning about the subject, but I kept telling myself that I had to do it because that’s what was “expected” of me, or so I thought. Now I’m currently going through training working in the field and I’m truthfully not enjoying it to the fullest. I feel like God allowed me to have the opportunity to work there so I could finally come to the conclusion that this may not be what He has in store for me. Now I’m just trying to figure out what other things I’m interested in that I could pursue or gifts that God has given me to use. Success for me now means pursuing the things God has called me to.
