Bluefin Tuna in Devon!

This is the moment I came very close to two huge Bluefin Tuna that were hunting Garfish off the south coast of Devon, UK.

WOW that is epic footage. Not many people have caught a fully airborne bluefin of that size on camera so close...that was a pretty big one too around 300KG maybe a touch more.

Are they normally around those waters ?? I'm in Australia I didn't know Blue fin were up in the northern hemisphere like that ??

There was a large tuna fishery in the SW in the last two centuries.

They love the surf . Soon we will be fishing from the beach with a 2 hook flapper !

200 years ago before we fished the herring to extinction, this sight was no big deal, so we fished the tuna out too.
