With just 98 days left before Liverpool's right-back can officially discuss terms with foreign clubs ahead of his contract's expiration, Alexander-Arnold has stayed silent about his future, stating it’s 'out of his hands' and that he is committed to 'being a Liverpool player this season.'
Real Madrid has long been linked to the 25-year-old. During the last transfer window, Madrid’s interest as 'concrete', while The Independent mentioned Alexander-Arnold was on their shortlist for next summer. Former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson shared with Betfred that Bellingham could be the final factor influencing Alexander-Arnold’s decision to move.
"The club itself is a huge draw, but if Trent talks to Jude, and Jude praises Madrid, that could make the decision final," Johnson explained to Betfred. "Jude could be the last piece in the puzzle, but I think Trent is likely to consider the deal regardless of Jude’s presence."
