OG lakers fans remember when Nick Young almost beat the Miami big 3 on Christmas or when the nba really had the lakers on the road in Chicago playing the bulls on Christmas Day. The media is full of shit. The lakers were the most talked about team last year. They were already relevant. There was hype around the great chemistry the young players were showing. Paul George was a lock to come to LA and Kawhi Leonard was coming to LA after this season. So the lakers would have been relevant without lebron. In fact they would be a better team right now without lebron if they had pg instead of lebron. So it’s absolute bs. Lebron did the same thing with Cleveland. Kyrie was the hottest young player in basketball and lebron came in and rode kyrie wave. Same with the lakers, the lakers young players were the most talked about last year and here comes lebron coming to ride the wave of the rising stars. Lebron is the basketball version of jay z. Whoever is hot at the time he jumps on the track with them and get clout off of riding someone else wave. So to act like lebron made the lakers relevant is pure nonsense. Lebron destroyed the lakers he didn’t make them relevant he made the lakers worse.
