$1300 for an apsc with 10bit internal all-intra, f-log2, 1.8mp lcd, ibis, fuji sims, external raw, opengate, like.. it's a good deal. i think they did a very good job with the pricing, unexpectedly good. this is a very compelling option and i think the best camera to have at this price. if only they add touch-tracking in future updates, but even without, it's an impressive product, imo.

Good lord, I've watched like 15 videos on this camera and you are the first one to properly analyze the video including shutter speeds, THANK YOU. It's a bit annoying that slow motion is still a FHD crop, but having the ability to record in 4K60 and slow it down afterwards is amazing, compared to the X-S10.

So this is a panasonic s5iix in aps c format for $1300. This and s5iix are the two best value pro cameras right now.

Wow, nice short movie about chef world, it shows the capabilities of this camera on the right hand. Anyway, I'm glad to see more camera companies implementing the open gate recording capability in their products. Not because I use anamorphic lenses, nor because it's more accommodating for portrait-oriented videos (oh god, I hate that), but because I love taller aspect ratios like 1.43:1 or 1.33:1. These aspect ratios look classic, charming, personal, and perfect to documented portraiture of peoples around me.

@cined Did you colour grade the cooking interview bit? It looks rather dark and high contrasty. Also, I don't really see that huge difference between the 6.2K and 4k 60p.

Hi, i am planning to buy my first ever camera next month at my bday, can you please please help me between a6700 and xs20? I've been dead set on buying xs20 for a long time, and now every video i watch everyone says that ibis and autofocus in sony is far better. What do you say? What would you consider or what should i consider? Please it's very very important. Also thank you for making video on xs20, i really want to buy this camera and your video helps strengthen my decision but still need your views.
