That broken Master Sword statue definitely should’ve been included in the TotK collector’s edition tbh, especially when the Master Edition for BotW came with its own Master Sword. I still ended up buying it, but I wouldn’t be lying if I said it wasn’t overpriced when you’re essentially paying $60 more for a steelbookC artbook, poster and some pins. Whereas the Metroid Dread special edition was only $30 more and came with both a steelbook, art book and art cards for each Metroid game, which certainly felt a lot more worth it to me.

I used to live in Japan and I've done ichiban kuji lotteries from Lawson and other convenience stores before. You did a really good job describing how they work. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy, as far as I know.

I'm so glad that I don't live in Japan because those lotteries are always so cool. I would most certainly be broke 😅

Very, VERY subjective. I prefer the TotK collector's edition to BotW. I don't need a giant wobbly sword. I DO however need that steelbook, that book, and those pins.

Hi from Malaysia! we have lots of collectible stores that run ichiban kuji draws. Basically you can buy as many tickets for each set. However, you should know that why it's called a "lottery" is because there's only 1 A prize, typically 1-3 of each B-C prizes and like 10-20 of each D-H prize. So basically once someone wins the A prize, there'll not be any others till the set is fully bought out (which is why they have the last prize, to promote people buying the remainder of the tickets).

I was walking by Lawsons yesterday while I was on my way to work and saw the campaign stopped inside to see what kind of stuff they were Lottering. I don't do the lotteries but I did purchase a tsurugi banana au lait, which is basically a banana flavoured milk.

as someone who regularly participates in Kuji....I wish you the best. In Australia we do have them as well, but it's only like...one store per state that does it and I swear they are ones that no one wants. I managed to get the Kirby Feast Kuji. It's best to either order them online or do it via a country shopper. Wishing you guys a happy hunt, gamble responsibly

Just want to say your camera/background/lighting setup looks absolutely amazing in this. Appreciate you putting in the effort to make the video look so amazing.

Have you considered a Zelda Collection video? I think it could do good numbers at the moment.

I literally went to my local Lawson yesterday and someone had already won the Master Sword.
I only heard about the Zelda Ichiban Kuji 2 days ago. Almost all of the goods had the 終了(finished) tag on them.

I got a green rupee plate and a stamina container keychain and 2 clear files separate from the Ichiban Kuji.

If anyone really wants the sword, Mercari really is probably the best option if you don't want to chance the lottery.

Also the Spicy Pepper Karaage was nice 👌

Collector’s edition was instantly sold out by bots before anyone could buy one

Getting the Master Sword statue with the previous Limited Edition felt worth the extra cost. Which at the time I think was £75-80. Had no interest in the TOTK one for the price they were after and what it contained. If it had that new Master Sword though, things would have been different. 😂

That kind of lottery system is a thing in Yokai Watch, I had a feeling it was something actually done in japan lol.
You make purchases at the snack store and get tickets to exchange for chances at items... That game had a TON of rng in it now that I think about it.

I’d totally buy this if it were available…though I completely agree that it should’ve came with the Special Edition. For a landmark game like this, pins, a steelbook, and art book seem pretty run of the mill

Wal Mart had several ToTK carrying cases for sale on Tuesday, but when I was doing my self-checkout, it flagged for an associate. I assumed they had to deactivate the security tags, but after some checking, he told me they had been recalled and they couldn't sell them to me.
