It took my wife about 10 years to be a citizen. Thousands of dollars spent, me doing tons of paperwork, and trips to the US embassy in her country. Visa, green card, and then citizenship paperwork and the fees that go with it. It’s a hard slap in the face of legal immigrants how they let people pour in through the border, hand them money, and give them free rides on planes and buses into the interior of the US on our tax dollars.
