I'm not a fan of the usual marvel superhero "braindead blockbuster" stuff... but this was different...a more true to real life/reality and mental health/suicidal struggles ...I know it's about a fictional mythical character but it still embodied real life stuff so well which is why Joaquin Phoenix 100% deserved to win that oscar

Watching this video, i was thinking: "What if "Joker" was produced in the late 80's, directed by William Friendkin, with a Tangerine Dream score?"
I had not planned to watch 'Joker' but it happens to be a good movie.
