There's a cesspool alright. It's called the political and media class.

It's a classic way or turning attention from what really matters: Australians are struggling with the massive increast cost of living.

Does anyone else feel like this might be a preempt by ASIO so they can further erode our privacy and freedoms some how? An announcement like this just seems a little disingenuous, like there is an underlaying and manipulative motivation.

Instead of increasing the threat levels on this as a political stunt, how about you patch up the potholes that have been accumilating on our roads and reduce the cost of living?

The comments on this feed absolutely rock. Australians know what the problems are. LPM knows that Australians know what the real problems in this country are. He cannot stand it.

Oh yeah, instead fixing the economy, talk about nonsense. The cost of living is sky rocket!

I'd argue that raids on innocent people and unlawful lock downs have caused this

It’s because we the people are sick of the way the government treats us. We didn’t sign up for a nanny state and we didn’t want Medicare been hit as hard as it is now. Tax return is a complete joke now

Looks like they’ve covered their bases to enact extreme action against those who won’t easily comply.

Violence is not the way, Be loud, Be educated and be willing to teach.
Most importantly DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT THEY TELL YOU, The people they are censoring and calling "extremists" are likely the people you will allign with.
An extremist in this gov's eyes is someone who refuses to be controlled and owned by the government, The government needs to serve the people.

Down in the polls? Up the Threat Level.

Government on both sides not acting in service of the people will tend to bring this out.

Nobody wants violence, but we can't even house our own people for an affordable cost, or give a sense of belonging unity and purpose. These are all simple problems to solve but keeping these problems serves the wealthy and powerful.

I'm not advocating for it, but it seems inevitable that desperate people with nothing to lose will lash out as we're all pushed more and more.

When incompetence and malevolence from your government is the daily norm, you can understand why anti-authoritarianism might arise.

And when the government wants to squash any dissent against that incompetence and malevolence, you can understand why people might label them authoritarian or totalitarian.
